Day 3- Aug. 1

Today has been good but, a little more challenging. It’s easy to eat healthy when you’re eating for 1 or 2 and your spouse supports you. I went to the aquarium with my family who is in town, and we ate at the food court there for lunch. It was SO tempting to get a hot dog, or a bbq burger, or a corn dog like all of them ordered, but I stayed strong and ordered a salad with chicken on it. Once I ordered it wasn’t a big deal, but I find it funny now when I look back at the mental battle that was going on in my head!!! I’ve already lost a pound, and that made me feel so good this morning, so there’s no way I’m going to let a little craving ruin my good eating!!

Today hasn&#8217;t been bad at all. I started my day with a protein shake &amp; a banana. While I was in class, a couple hours later I had a small bag of pretzels for a snack. For lunch I had spinach salad with low fat buttermilk ranch!
